After the purchase you will receive a web link for the download of additional data sets. These data sets are to be installed the same way as the Demo Version Installer.

Internet traffic

Each update takes fixed 800 By plus variable part consisting of the data modified since the last update.
News update takes typically 13 KB, results update usually less.
News update consists of the headlines and short news text.
Full news text can be downloaded separately in case of interest.

Installation

The zip contents

• WMMobile.prc - the Palm OS application
• WMMobileDemo_DE-Installer.prc - Installer for the demo data

Hotsync both packed .prc files in any order. The data installer is constructed such that it starts the data installation immediately after the successful Hotsync and deletes itself after the completion.

Warning
PalmSource Installer used for the demo data installation does not detect insufficient card space. If this happens, the Installer simple omits files that failed to install without saying a word.

Uninstallation

1. Uninstall application data: Use the Uninstall option in the application main menu.
   Alternatively, use any File Manager to delete the card folder /Palm/Programs/WM2006.
2. Use standard application delete from the Palm Launcher.

Limitations in the Demo version

• Demo version contains only small part of the complete data.
  For example German release contains:
  • Team reports for the Group A
  • Portraits of selected German players
  • World Cup 2002 reports
  • Selected historical tables
  • Selected stadium reports
• News list displays headlines only; full news text is inaccessible.
• Manual result editing is blocked.
• Results download is blocked
